The time has come! The Amazon Welcome and Noobie boxes have arrived! I’m extremely excited to share with you guys what were the items in these boxes. If you want more information on how to obtain these boxes, please check out my blog post: “How to get Free (or Nearly Free) Baby Stuff for your baby and yourself”
Noobie Box: As mentioned previously, I have never heard of this company until I decide to conduct my own research for free items. I was curious to see what kind of goodies they would send, since theres no inclination as to what you could get. Each box comes with a welcome card that offers a greeting to their company and an introduction to the other boxes they offer. Upon opening the box, I was stoked to see that they had sent a MAM bottle as well as the Water Wipes. All I keep hearing from my pregnant friends and moms, is how great the MAM bottles are. So I’m happy to have one and witness what all the hype is about. The other freebies are:
- Nursing pads
- Aquaphor ointment
- MAM newborn pacifier
- Natural Nasal drops
Another thing thats included in the box are coupons. The coupons that I received were for Aquaphor and the Water Wipes. In addition, the booklet also provides tips on a variety of topics. Mine addressed the following: How To Get A Better Sleep During Pregnancy, Newborn Must Haves, a Mom Interview and a Checklist.
Verdict: I was pleasantly surprised by the items in the box. I honestly had no idea what to expect, but I love the fact that they sent a variety of items. Obviously the highlight of the box was the MAM bottle & pacifier and the water wipes! Considering that there are other baby subscriptions boxes out there (that cost way more in shipping), I say that the Noobie Pregnancy Box is definitely worth paying the $6.95 (for shipping).
Amazon Welcome Box:
Now this is the box that I’ve been anxiously waiting for! Allow me to introduce you guys to Amazon’s Welcome Box:
My Amazon Box had the following:
- Lysol Disinfectant wipes
- Cetaphil (sample)
- Burts Bees (sample)
- Aveeno (sample)
- a packet of NUK pacifiers
- Avent bottle
- Aquaphor (sample)
- Pampers (sample)
- A swaddle blanket
- Moon and Back onesies (3-6 months)
Verdict: I LOVE the Amazon Welcome Box! I was ecstatic when I saw the swaddle blanket, the Moon and Back Onesie and the huggies wipes! I can officially say I’m an adult when things like this make me happy. I would definitely recommend expecting moms or their relatives to obtain Amazon’s Welcome Box, not only for their items but also because of the offers and discounts they provide for having a complete baby registry with them. You get 10% off — or 15% off for Prime members — on products that you purchase from your registry less than 60 days before your due date and up to 180 days after. This means that you’ll be saving a lot of money on all of your baby’s necessities (or yours for that matter). The cons about the amazon box is that you have to be a Prime Member and you have to complete the baby registry list, but other than that, it is definitely worth getting.
Hopefully you enjoyed the unveiling of these boxes as much as I did! Until next time!
